about

This tune was inspired by two typsy characters at The National Folk Festival (Canberra ACT) 2008. They had kidnapped a life size papier-mache sailor from the children's tent and were escorting him around the bar. They had affectionaltely named him Brucie. Unfortunately Brucie had no head... "Don't worry about Brucie," they slurred "He's got no head but he'll be alright!" Followed by an awesome tune by Jon Boden. Not Mexican or a jig, how mysterious...
